The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship (ASF) is thrilled to formally announce the schedule of the Schweitzer Fellows for Life (FFL) Conference: Achieving Health Equity Together on October 29.
“In total, 18 Fellows and Fellows for Life (Schweitzer program alumni) will be presenting this year – a record in FFL Conference history – in addition to other expert panelists and presenters,” says ASF National Program Director Meghan Johnson (herself a Fellow for Life).
“From Health Care Reform and Its Implications to Bridging the Gap: Providing Culturally Competent Care for LGBT People to Found in Translation: Practical Ideas for Improving Communication with Spanish-Speaking Patients, we are excited to present a conference programming lineup that is as diverse, compelling, and timely as it is inspiring — and we are looking forward to officially announcing our phenomenal keynote speaker later this month,” Johnson says.
“This conference is a chance to deepen your understanding of today’s most pressing health issues and discuss the role you can play in the broader movement to achieve health equity,” Johnson says. “We encourage Fellows, Fellows for Life, and other individuals who are eager to sharpen their skills and join a community of service-minded and passionate emerging professionals to register today.”
