Last week, ASF announced the selection of a new class of Houston-Galveston Schweitzer Fellows.

Two of those Fellows — Beth Christopherson and Matt Estey — are the first Schweitzer Fellows to be selected from the University of Houston (UH). Read about these two students from the UH Graduate College of Social Work — and their project, aimed at empowering Houston’s homeless individuals — in this feature posted by the school.

Four other newly-selected Houston Fellows — Alina Batool, Amanda Davé, Angela Lloyd, and Smita Pamar– are students at the University of Texas School of Public Health (UTSPH). Read about their Schweitzer projects  in this UTSPH piece (scroll down).
